Special Interest groups

NHAA offers a variety of special interest groups, which are open to both members and non-members. Below are the currently active groups and scheduled meeting times. If you would like to join any of these groups, or start a new group, contact NHAA.

Painting:

Note: Due to Covid meetings are temporarily held via zoom. Contact Gallery if interested in attending.

The group provides a welcoming atmosphere in which to share ideas, discuss creative thought processes and learn from others. Queries regarding the Painting Group contact John at johnlecours39@yahoo.com Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of every month, 7PM.

Plein Air:

This group offers a great opportunity for painters to learn from other artists and to become immersed in their environment enabling them to paint the life around them.

Meetings are weekly throughout the spring and summer at various locations. Photographers are also welcome to join the weekly meetings. If you would like to suggest a location, please reach out to NHAA staff.
