Art Guild of the Kennebunks
Membership Application
Membership is opened only once a year. The next open jurying will be in April 2025.
The Art Guild of the Kennebunks was established in 1980 by a gathering of local professional artists working and exhibiting in the area. Its purpose is to support and encourage each other as artists, to form a base from which to work with other organizations in the community and also to further the appreciation of fine art through group exhibitions, demonstrations and discussions.
All applications must be submitted in advance and there will be no applications accepted on a walk-in basis. Applicants must not be on the premises at the time of jurying. Jurying for artist membership is by an anonymous jury. Work must be original, recent (within the last two years) and done outside of a workshop or class. Work must be professionally presented (no saw-tooth hangers) ready for hanging or exhibiting. There will be no critiquing of applicants’ work.
Submit five (5) pieces in one medium that best represents you as an artist. You may jury in with
two dimensional paintings/drawings, photography, or sculpture.

You will be notified of the jurors' decision by mail within 7-10 days. AGK's annual membership dues of $50 are payable upon acceptance.
